Responsibility
- Execute complex alterations and custom garment construction for high-end clientele
- Develop patterns and create prototypes from client measurements and design specifications
- Conduct detailed fittings and adjustments to ensure perfect silhouettes
- Advise clients on fabric selection, styling, and tailoring techniques
- Maintain and operate industrial sewing equipment with precision
- Collaborate with design team on seasonal collections and special projects
- Document client preferences and maintain detailed garment specifications
Qualification
- Minimum 7 years of professional tailoring experience in luxury or bespoke environments
- Expertise in pattern drafting, hand stitching, and machine sewing techniques
- Portfolio demonstrating advanced garment construction and alteration work
- Exceptional eye for fit, proportion, and fabric drape
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and fittings
- Familiarity with premium fabrics (wool, silk, cashmere, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
- Relevant certification or apprenticeship preferred
