Responsibility
- Handcraft bespoke suits, coats, and formalwear using traditional tailoring methods
- Execute precise pattern drafting, cutting, and fitting for custom garments
- Conduct client consultations to understand style preferences and measurements
- Oversee alterations and repairs of luxury garments with meticulous attention
- Train junior tailors in advanced techniques and quality standards
- Source and evaluate premium fabrics (wool, cashmere, silk)
- Collaborate with designers on seasonal collections
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years professional tailoring experience
- Expertise in hand-stitching, canvas construction, and pad-stitching
- Portfolio demonstrating bespoke garment craftsmanship
- Deep knowledge of fabric properties and garment construction
- Exceptional precision in measuring and fitting
- Relevant certification from accredited tailoring institution
- Fluent in English with strong client communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
