Responsibility
- Execute intricate alterations and fittings with absolute precision and care for high-end bespoke clients.
- Design and cut patterns from scratch for suits, evening wear, and custom garments.
- Collaborate closely with clients during the fitting process to achieve the ideal silhouette and style.
- Maintain a pristine workshop environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in optimal condition.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished garments to ensure superior craftsmanship standards.
- Mentor junior tailors and apprentices, sharing advanced techniques and industry knowledge.
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in high-end bespoke tailoring.
- Proven expertise in reading and drafting complex patterns and garment construction.
- Deep understanding of luxury fabrics, including wool, cashmere, silk, and linen.
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-sewing proficiency, and the ability to work with both industrial and hand tools.
- Valid trade qualification or certification in tailoring and pattern making.
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to communicate technical details to non-experts.
