You will work with premium fabrics, create bespoke garments, and perform precision alterations for discerning clientele. Responsibility
- Consult with clients to understand their style preferences, measurements, and garment requirements.
- Create custom patterns and cut fabrics with precision to ensure perfect fit and design.
- Sew, assemble, and finish bespoke suits, jackets, trousers, shirts, and other garments.
- Perform expert alterations, adjustments, and repairs on ready-to-wear and custom clothing.
- Conduct fittings to make necessary modifications and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain and organize tailoring tools, equipment, and workstations in a clean, safe manner.
- Collaborate with the design and sales teams to provide technical insights and uphold brand quality.
- Stay updated on tailoring techniques, fabric trends, and industry best practices.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional tailoring experience, preferably in bespoke or luxury apparel.
- Formal training or apprenticeship in tailoring, fashion design, or related field.
- Proficiency in hand and machine sewing techniques, pattern making, and draping.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrics, linings, and construction methods for various garment types.
- Excellent measurement and fitting skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client service abilities to interpret and fulfill custom requests.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio or samples of previous work demonstrating craftsmanship and versatility.
