Responsibility
- Execute haute couture garment construction from pattern to final fitting
- Lead fittings for VIP clientele with precision and discretion
- Develop innovative techniques for luxury fabrics (silk, cashmere, tweed)
- Train junior tailors in traditional and contemporary methods
- Manage alterations and restorations of heritage pieces
- Collaborate with design team on seasonal collections
- Ensure impeccable finish on all bespoke creations
Qualification
- Minimum 8 years luxury tailoring experience
- Master certification (Meisterprüfung) in tailoring
- Expertise in hand-stitching, canvas work, and draping
- Fluent German and English communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating haute couture craftsmanship
- Knowledge of historical and contemporary fashion trends
- Ability to work under pressure for VIP deadlines
- Discretion and professionalism in client interactions
