Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Math and Science Tutor to join BrightPath Tutoring Services in Austin, TX. In this role, you will provide oneāonāone and smallāgroup instruction to students in grades 5ā12, helping them master key concepts and improve their academic performance. You will collaborate with our curriculum team to adapt teaching strategies to each learnerās needs, track progress, and communicate achievements to parents and guardians. Responsibility
- Deliver personalized math and science tutoring sessions for middle and high school students.
- Assess studentsā skill levels and create tailored lesson plans.
- Monitor and report student progress to parents and guardians.
- Participate in curriculum development and resource curation.
- Maintain a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops.
Qualification
- Bachelorās degree in Education, Math, Science, or a related field (or currently enrolled).
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Texas state standards for math and science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for occasional weekend/evening sessions.
