Responsibility
- Perform accurate laboratory tests including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology
- Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment with precision
- Ensure strict adherence to CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations
- Analyze test results, identify abnormalities, and communicate critical findings
- Implement quality control procedures to guarantee test reliability
- Document all procedures and maintain detailed laboratory records
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for patient care coordination
Qualification
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- ASCP or AMT certification required (or eligible within 6 months)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures
- Proficiency in LIS/HIS systems and laboratory automation
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
