Responsibility

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
  • Conduct quality control procedures and troubleshoot any irregularities.
  • Prepare and analyze patient specimens following strict protocols.
  • Document and report test results to physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of lab supplies.
  • Participate in continuing education and lab improvement initiatives.

Qualification

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from ASCP or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of lab safety and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
