Responsibility
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking.
- Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper labeling and handling.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, performing calibration and troubleshooting as needed.
- Record and analyze test results, reporting abnormalities to supervisory staff.
- Adhere to strict quality control and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
- Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies.
Qualification
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from ASCP or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
