Responsibility
- Analyze biological samples (blood, tissue, fluids) using automated and manual techniques
- Perform quality control checks and maintain laboratory equipment
- Document test results accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare providers on patient results
- Adhere to CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Participate in continuing education to maintain technical proficiency
Qualification
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible)
- Minimum 2 years clinical laboratory experience
- Strong knowledge of hematology, chemistry, and microbiology
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
