Responsibility
- Perform complex laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and other specimens following strict protocols
- Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment including analyzers and microscopes
- Analyze and interpret test results with meticulous attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and CAP regulations
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate electronic records
- Collaborate with pathologists and medical staff to resolve discrepancies
- Participate in quality control and proficiency testing programs
Qualification
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- ASCP or AMT certification required (or eligible within 6 months)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Strong knowledge of hematology, chemistry, and microbiology
- Proficiency in LIS/HIS systems and laboratory automation
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
