Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve complex connectivity issues to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Configure, manage, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from leading vendors
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with IT security team to implement robust network security policies and access controls
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic network improvements and cost-effective upgrades
- Mentor junior network administrators and provide technical guidance on network-related projects
- Lead network capacity planning and perform regular infrastructure assessments
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or senior network administration
- Expert-level knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking equipment
- Strong proficiency with network protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and VLANs
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
- In-depth understanding of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA are highly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
