Responsibility
- Design, implement, and manage scalable LAN/WAN networks, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
- Monitor network health using advanced tools, proactively resolving issues and optimizing traffic flow.
- Enforce security policies and best practices to protect critical data and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate hybrid and multi-cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams.
- Lead capacity planning and recommend technology upgrades to support business growth.
- Provide tier-3 escalation support and mentor junior team members.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and MPLS technologies.
- Expertise in Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and Juniper Junos; experience with Arista is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) and automation (Ansible, Python).
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE or Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE certification strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to diagnose complex network issues and communicate solutions clearly.
- Experience with SD-WAN, wireless networking, and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark).
