Responsibility
- Provide exceptional primary care to a panel of patients, emphasizing preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with specialists and allied health professionals.
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation using our advanced EHR system.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to medical students and residents rotating through the practice.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide accessible care to patients.
Qualification
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 2 years of start date).
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas (or eligible for licensure).
- Current DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification.
- Proven clinical experience (2+ years post-residency preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience highly preferred).
