Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Conduct routine physical examinations, health risk assessments, and wellness visits.
- Develop and implement personalized patient care plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health management, prevention, and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and practice efficiency.
Qualification
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain one prior to start).
- DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-residency preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based medicine and patient safety.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
