Responsibility

  • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production associates across multiple shifts, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Enforce strict compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
  • Analyze production metrics and KPIs to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and optimize throughput using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and coach team members to achieve their highest potential.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and work-in-progress, ensuring the seamless flow of the production process.
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings to communicate production targets, safety alerts, and quality updates to the team.

Qualification

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and develop direct reports.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required to meet business demands.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field highly preferred.
  • Certified Production Technician (CPT) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a strong plus.
