Sanitech Facilities Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Professional Office Cleaner to join our esteemed team in the heart of the Financial District. Responsibility
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of assigned office spaces, including workstations, conference rooms, and common areas.
- Vacuum, mop, sweep, and spot clean carpets and hard flooring surfaces using commercial-grade equipment.
- Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, and elevator buttons, adhering to strict health protocols.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles, ensuring proper waste segregation and disposal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Stock and maintain cleaning supply closets, reporting inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages observed during cleaning rounds.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects, floor care, and special event setups as required.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional janitorial or commercial cleaning experience.
- Proficiency in using industrial cleaning equipment (buffer, auto-scrubber, vacuum cleaner) is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours (5:00 PM - 1:00 AM).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
- Valid NYC ID or legal authorization to work in the United States.
