Responsibility

- Lead a vibrant research group, securing external funding and publishing in top venues.
- Mentor and supervise PhD students, post‑doctoral researchers, and junior faculty.
- Collaborate with industry partners and interdisciplinary centres to translate research into impact.
- Contribute to departmental strategic planning, committees, and outreach activities.
- Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and quality assurance processes.
Qualification
- A doctorate (PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
- Proven track record of internationally recognised research and high‑impact publications.
- Extensive teaching experience at university level, with excellent student feedback.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with ability to supervise diverse teams.
- Experience securing and managing research grants (e.g., UKRI, EU Horizon).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for academic and public engagement.
