Responsibility
- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, ensuring curriculum aligns with evolving industry and academic standards.
- Conduct and lead innovative research, resulting in publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
- Advise and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and undergraduate researchers.
- Secure external research funding through grants and sponsored programs.
- Contribute to departmental governance, curriculum development, and accreditation processes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across Harvard and external institutions.
- Engage in service activities such as reviewing for conferences/journals and participating in professional organizations.
Qualification
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field by the start date of appointment.
- Demonstrated record of high-quality research evidenced by publications in top venues.
- Proven ability or strong potential to attract external research funding.
- Excellent teaching skills at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration and mentorship.
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic settings.
- At least 2 years of postdoctoral or equivalent research experience preferred.
