Responsibility
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, implementing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and postādischarge care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in unitābased quality improvement initiatives and staff training.
- Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed.
Qualification
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care or acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
