Responsibility
- Provide direct patient care in emergency settings including trauma, cardiac, and pediatric cases
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic results for rapid intervention
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR system
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
Qualification
- Valid New York State RN license (required)
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency in Epic EHR and emergency department workflows
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
