Responsibility
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions for emergency patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency protocols with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
- Respond effectively to critical situations and trauma codes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental committees
Qualification
- Current RN license in the state of Illinois (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Epic electronic health records
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
