Responsibility
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage to develop individualized care plans based on clinical best practices and patient needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies with precision and adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and neurological status in real-time, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and communicate vital updates to nursing staff.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based governance to drive excellence in healthcare delivery.
Qualification
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Critical Care, Telemetry, or Med-Surg nursing preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
