Responsibility
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and manage life support equipment as needed.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring clear communication regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions promptly.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and stay updated with best practices.
Qualification
- Valid RN license in New York State (or eligibility to obtain).
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) with experience considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in critical care or acute care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or equivalent).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
