Westlake Academy is seeking a visionary and dynamic School Principal to lead our established private educational institution. This is a exceptional opportunity for an experienced educational leader to shape the academic trajectory of students from Pre-K through 8th grade.
As Principal, you will oversee all aspects of school operations, including curriculum development, faculty management, student affairs, and community relations. Responsibility
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all academic programs and school operations
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff members to ensure instructional quality
- Develop and implement curriculum enhancements aligned with state standards and best practices
- Foster positive relationships with parents, students, and the broader community
- Manage the annual budget and oversee facility maintenance and improvements
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation requirements
- Address student discipline and welfare issues with care and professionalism
Qualification
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field; Doctorate preferred
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in educational administration, including prior principal or assistant principal roles
- Valid Texas Principal Certification (EC-12) or equivalent
- Proven track record of improving student achievement and school performance metrics
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with accreditation processes and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives
- Strong financial management and organizational abilities
