Responsibility
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure a safe, supportive, and high-achieving learning environment for all students.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with district goals and promote continuous improvement in academic outcomes.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate highly qualified teachers and staff to build a collaborative and effective team.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance school-community partnerships.
- Oversee the school’s budget, resources, and facilities to ensure efficient and equitable allocation.
- Analyze student performance data to drive instructional decisions and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Promote a school culture of equity, inclusion, and respect for diversity across all school activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal education regulations and policies.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Education Administration, or a related field.
- Valid state principal certification or licensure (New York).
- Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience, preferably at the K-12 level.
- At least 3 years of proven administrative or leadership experience in a school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to improve student achievement and close achievement gaps.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with budget management, strategic planning, and community engagement.
