Responsibility
- Provide visionary instructional leadership to develop, implement, and refine a world-class curriculum aligned with state standards and 21st-century skills.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and rigorous school culture that prioritizes student well-being, social-emotional learning, and academic achievement.
- Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and retain exceptional teaching and administrative staff, promoting continuous professional growth and collaboration.
- Oversee the school's daily operations, including budget management, facilities maintenance, scheduling, and resource allocation to achieve organizational goals.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and the community to build strong, transparent partnerships and ensure open communication regarding school initiatives and student progress.
- Implement data-driven decision-making processes to monitor student performance, close achievement gaps, and celebrate measurable success.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and equitable learning environment for all students and staff by enforcing policies and promoting restorative justice practices.
Qualification
- Master's degree or higher in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, or a closely related field; Doctorate preferred.
- Valid State of New Jersey Principal Certification (or eligibility for immediate reciprocity).
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as a classroom teacher, and 3+ years as a School Principal or Assistant Principal in a diverse, high-performing school setting.
- Deep knowledge of curriculum development, instructional best practices, and the effective integration of educational technology.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and utilize findings to drive school improvement, professional development, and resource allocation.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with a proven ability to build consensus and motivate diverse stakeholders.
