Responsibility
- Oversee daily school operations, ensuring alignment with district policies and educational standards
- Lead curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment frameworks to enhance student outcomes
- Mentor, evaluate, and develop teaching staff through professional growth initiatives and performance feedback
- Manage school budgets, resources, and facilities while maintaining fiscal responsibility and compliance
- Cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, faculty, and community stakeholders
- Drive data-informed decision-making to address achievement gaps and implement continuous improvement
- Champion school culture initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and student well-being
Qualification
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field (Doctorate preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in K-12 education
- Valid New York State School Building Leader (SBL) certification
- Proven track record of improving student achievement and school performance metrics
- Expertise in budget management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong knowledge of NYSED standards, curriculum frameworks, and best practices
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams
