Responsibility
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter and detect suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts.
- Control access to buildings and facilities, verifying credentials and logging visitors.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid state security guard license or registration (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security or related field.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for report writing and monitoring systems.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
