Responsibility
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to detect and prevent security threats
- Control access at entry points and verify identification of visitors
- Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and effectively
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and guests
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations
- Operate surveillance equipment and security systems
- Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred
- Excellent observational and communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing
- CPR and First Aid certification a plus
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
