Responsibility
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the facility and perimeter to ensure a visible security presence.
- Monitor advanced CCTV and intrusion detection systems, responding immediately to alarms and suspicious activities.
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees and visitors.
- De-escalate potentially volatile situations using professional communication and conflict resolution techniques.
- Draft detailed daily activity reports (DARs) and incident reports with accuracy and clarity.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, clients, and guests, serving as a friendly and authoritative point of contact.
Qualification
- Must possess a valid Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Security Guard License (Level II or Level III).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; some college education is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for vehicle patrol positions).
- CPR and AED certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Open availability for various shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
