Responsibility
- Access Control: Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and ensure only authorized personnel gain access to the facility.
- Patrols: Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards immediately.
- Emergency Response: Respond to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance and coordinating with local law enforcement and fire departments.
- Reporting: Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and visitor logs with high attention to detail.
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere for tenants and guests while maintaining strict security protocols.
Qualification
- Experience: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is highly preferred.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or be able to obtain one prior to hire.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods and handle emergency situations calmly.
- Technology: Basic proficiency with computers and access control systems.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
