As a Security Guard, you will serve as the first line of defense for our client's properties, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and assets. This role requires individuals with exceptional situational awareness and a professional demeanor.
We provide all necessary training, uniform, and equipment. Shifts include day, evening, and overnight options.
Responsibility
- Patrol premises to monitor and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and policy violations
- Monitor CCTV systems and access control equipment to ensure property security
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of visitors and contractors
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents with proper protocols
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports using our digital reporting system
- Provide excellent customer service while directing visitors and answering inquiries
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California Security Guard License (BSIS) required at time of hire
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Basic computer skills for report writing
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
