Responsibility
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control points to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the property to deter suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Manage visitor access by verifying credentials, issuing badges, and maintaining detailed logs.
- Respond immediately and effectively to alarms, medical emergencies, fires, and security threats.
- Prepare comprehensive incident reports and daily activity logs using our digital reporting systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting visitors, tenants, and employees with inquiries and directions.
- Enforce property rules, regulations, and post orders consistently and professionally.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents.
Qualification
- Valid New York State Security Guard License (8-hour and 16-hour training certificates required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts) and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
