Responsibility
- Execute accurate and efficient point-of-sale (POS) transactions, handling cash, credit, and mobile payments with ease.
- Provide an exceptional, personalized checkout experience that aligns with NexGenâs premium brand standards.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current promotions, loyalty programs, and product offerings to proactively upsell and inform customers.
- Replenish and organize front-end merchandise, ensuring impulse areas are visually appealing and fully stocked.
- Adhere strictly to cash handling policies, perform end-of-day reconciliations, and mitigate discrepancies.
- Collaborate with store team members to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment.
- Assist with customer inquiries, complaints, and product returns with grace and efficiency.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associateâs degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 1+ year of cashier or retail sales experience in a high-volume, premium setting.
- Proven mastery of POS systems and digital payment technologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an unwaveringly positive attitude.
- Mathematical proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
