Responsibility
- Execute seamless POS transactions while maintaining 99.8% cash drawer accuracy
- Train and mentor 3-5 cashiers on new technologies and service protocols
- Resolve complex customer inquiries with empathy and creative solutions
- Implement loss prevention strategies and inventory reconciliation procedures
- Coordinate peak-hour staffing and queue management systems
- Lead daily cash-out procedures and deposit preparation
- Collaborate with merchandising team to optimize product displays
Qualification
- 3+ years retail cashier experience with proven leadership potential
- Mastery of POS systems (Square, Toast, or equivalent)
- Advanced cash handling and reconciliation expertise
- Exceptional conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic inventory management knowledge
- Food safety certification preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable
