Responsibility
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including bridges, transit systems, and sustainable water management systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from conceptualization to completion
- Ensure compliance with CA Building Standards, Caltrans specifications, and environmental regulations
- Utilize BIM/CAD technologies for precision modeling and cost-effective solutions
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical innovation
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects
- PE license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record with large-scale municipal or transportation projects
- Strong understanding of seismic design and sustainability principles
- Excellent project management and client relationship skills
- Familiarity with local permitting processes (SFDPW, SFPUC)
