Responsibility
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of complex civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client vision and regulatory standards.
- Oversee site supervision, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and health & safety compliance.
- Conduct detailed technical feasibility studies, structural analyses, and cost estimations for various infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, project managers, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all designs adhere to UK building codes, planning regulations, and sustainability goals (e.g., BREEAM standards).
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered status (MICE or similar) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale infrastructure projects within the UK construction sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
