Responsibility

  • Lead the design and permitting of large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects.
  • Develop and review detailed site plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management reports, and utility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of Staff Engineers and EITs, promoting technical excellence and innovation.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and scope to ensure exceptional profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and due diligence assessments.
  • Coordinate closely with landscape architects, surveyors, and geotechnical consultants.
  • Ensure strict adherence to local codes, SWPPP, and NPDES regulations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado is required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in land development and/or municipal infrastructure design.
  • Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, corridor modeling, and utility networks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stormwater management, detention design, and erosion control.
  • Strong track record in project management, client relations, and proposal development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Hydraflow, StormCAD, WaterCAD, or ICPR is highly desirable.
