We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer to lead complex site development, transportation, and drainage projects from conceptual design through construction administration. Responsibility

  • Lead the design and permitting of site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility systems for large-scale projects.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports in compliance with TCEQ and local municipal codes.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record, sealing documents and mentoring junior EITs and staff engineers.
  • Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design erosion and sedimentation control plans.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Perform due diligence and feasibility studies for potential development sites.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited). Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas, or ability to obtain by comity within 6 months.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in land development and/or public works infrastructure design.
  • Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, or similar engineering design software.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of Texas water rights, drainage criteria, and NPDES permitting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with public presentations is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
