Responsibility
- Lead design and implementation of large-scale civil infrastructure projects (transportation, water/wastewater, land development)
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with local/state regulations
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, contractors, and stakeholders during all project phases
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design deliverables
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure and climate resilience
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documentation
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas with minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing complex municipal infrastructure projects
- Deep knowledge of TxDOT, TCEQ, and municipal permitting processes
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams
- Expertise in sustainable design practices and LEED certification
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for challenging geotechnical conditions
