Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end content creation, ensuring alignment with brand voice and SEO best practices
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5+ writers and content creators
- Develop and implement comprehensive editorial calendars and content strategies
- Conduct thorough fact-checking, copyediting, and proofreading of all published materials
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging
- Analyze content performance metrics and optimize strategies for maximum engagement
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging content technologies
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of professional editing experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Expert proficiency in AP Style, grammar, and content optimization techniques
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse content types (articles, blogs, whitepapers)
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback
