- Oversee end-to-end editorial workflows across digital magazines and branded content
- Develop and enforce style guides while ensuring brand consistency
- Lead content strategy sessions with marketing and design teams
- Manage a team of 3-5 editors with performance reviews and skill development
- Optimize content for SEO and user engagement metrics
- Collaborate with external contributors and industry experts
- Implement AI-assisted editing tools while maintaining human oversight
Qualification
- 8+ years of editorial experience with 3+ in leadership roles
- Expert knowledge of AP Style, Chicago Manual, and SEO best practices
- Proven track record of managing high-volume content production
- Advanced proficiency in CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful)
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional editing and storytelling skills
- Experience with content analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush)
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
