Responsibility
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement robust security policies, procedures, and standards compliant with GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Lead incident response efforts, including forensic analysis, root cause determination, and post-incident reporting.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure architecture design and implementation.
- Provide advanced security awareness training to employees to reduce human error and phishing risks.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and industry trends to recommend proactive defensive measures.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Active certification such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, Security+, or GCIH is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or information security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
