Responsibility
- Serve as the analytics lead for key product verticals, defining KPIs and building comprehensive dashboards using Looker and Tableau.
- Partner with Data Engineering to design and implement scalable data models in dbt and Snowflake, ensuring data reliability and governance.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into user behavior, retention, and monetization using SQL and Python (Pandas/NumPy).
- Design and analyze A/B experiments and causal inference studies to measure feature impact and optimize conversion.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling presentations and data stories for senior leadership.
- Identify and recommend improvements to data collection practices across product and marketing.
- Mentor junior team members on analytical best practices, SQL optimization, and visualization techniques.
- Drive data literacy across the organization by creating documentation and leading training sessions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degree is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex queries, window functions, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical programming skills in Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn) or R.
- Deep experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) and transformation tools (dbt).
- Mastery of at least one BI/visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase).
- Proven ability to apply statistical concepts (hypothesis testing, regression, clustering) to business problems.
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of presenting complex data to executives.
