Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems across multiple product lines
- Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling on large-scale datasets using Python, SQL, and cloud-based analytics platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ML models into production systems and maintain model performance
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and data-driven storytelling
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the development of best practices and technical standards
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions
- Partner with product managers and business leaders to define data-driven requirements and success metrics
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles with demonstrated business impact
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
- Strong background in statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experimental design
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience with version control (Git) and MLOps practices
- Track record of publishing research or contributing to open-source projects is a plus
