Responsibility
- Model Development: Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning models using Python and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Data Strategy: Lead the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data ingestion and cleaning to model validation and productionization.
- Feature Engineering: Develop innovative feature extraction techniques to improve model accuracy and predictive power.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to integrate data insights into core product features and user experiences.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest academic research and industry trends to continuously improve our technical stack.
- Optimization: Monitor model performance in production, optimize latency and throughput, and implement A/B testing frameworks.
Qualification
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL. Strong experience with deep learning frameworks.
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to deconstruct complex business problems and derive actionable insights from unstructured data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
