Responsibility
- Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and laser scanning technologies
- Analyze topographic data and prepare detailed CAD drawings and plats
- Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations
- Collaborate with civil engineers and urban planners on large-scale developments
- Mentor junior surveyors and oversee field operations
- Utilize GIS software for spatial data analysis and mapping
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of professional land surveying experience
- Texas Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center
- Strong understanding of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey standards
- Experience with UAV/drone surveying technology preferred
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification
