Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive land surveys using GPS, total stations, and 3D laser scanning technologies
- Lead project teams in boundary determination, topographic mapping, and construction layout
- Analyze survey data to create precise CAD drawings and GIS-compatible deliverables
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal surveying standards
- Manage client relationships and project timelines for residential, commercial, and municipal developments
- Mentor junior surveyors and implement quality control protocols
- Utilize drone technology for aerial surveying and photogrammetry applications
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of professional land surveying experience with PLS certification
- Proficiency in CAD (Auto Civil 3D), GIS (ArcGIS), and survey software (Trimble Business Center)
- Expertise in construction staking, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and subdivision platting
- Strong understanding of Colorado Revised Statutes and local municipal codes
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience leading survey teams and managing project budgets
