Responsibility
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud network architectures.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities to ensure high availability and low latency.
- Lead network security initiatives including VPNs, ACLs, and zero-trust segmentation.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python, Ansible) and orchestration tools.
- Mentor and guide junior network engineers, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and code reviews.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to network incidents with root cause analysis.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and MPLS.
- Deep experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS, and Juniper JunOS.
- Strong understanding of network security best practices and tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, 802.1X).
- Proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
